Oral Health Education

An oral health educator has an important and valuable role within a dental practice. They promote good oral health care and work with patients to help prevent oral disease. At Newby Dental Practice, we are committed to prevention of dental problems. We feel that having an Oral Health Educator is essential to provide support and advice to our patients.

Beth is our Oral Health Educator at Newby Dental Practice. Beth is fully qualified and highly knowledgeable when it comes to providing advice on oral health.

Beth works alongside the Dentists and Hygienists to support patients in improving their understanding on how they can improve the health of their mouths. Sometimes we all need pointing in the right direction!

This works really well for people of all ages, children and adults alike. People undergoing treatment for or planning to have braces, implants or dentures really benefit too. These can be tricky times to know what to do to keep your teeth and gums in tip top shape.

Beth can either provide one on one sessions, or as a family group. Sometimes all learning as a family can mean everyone can implement new diet and tooth brushing skills and work together to make the changes work!

Ask our Reception Team about booking a dedicated session with Beth, see how she can help you.

Sessions cost just £5, and everyone receives a free information and goodie bag too.
