Data Protection and GDPR compliance

We take your confidentiality and the protection of your personal data very seriously. As such, we only use the information you provide us for the purpose for which it was given. We do not share your information with anyone for marketing purposes.

Being able to contact you is very important. This might be to make you an appointment, to change an existing appointment, or simply check things have been ok since you were last with us. We have various methods for which we can contact you. These include over the phone, via email or text message or by post. We like to be able to have your details for all these methods, where possible, just to make sure we can get hold of you should we need to. However, you can let us know what method of contact works best for you, and equally if you rather we don’t use a specific method, that’s fine too!

As health care professionals, we do need to keep some of your personal information in your dental records. This information will include personal details, medical details and GP details, as well as anything relating to your past, current or planned dental treatment.

For more information about what details we keep on file, and how long we keep these for, please see our data protection policy below. This document also details how you can access your records, or request the right to erasure, should you so wish.
